The head of youth recruitment at Manchester United is reportedly set to leave the club.
According to The Times, Derek Langley who has been with the club for 16 years has become disillusioned with the state of the club’s academy. He is said to be unhappy with the current limitations on player recruitment and wants to leave by the end of the season. In recent times, Manchester City’s academy has blossomed, leaving the Red Devil’s academy chasing behind in getting young players.
Manchester United is already struggling to produce consistent results on the field of play, and this news will surely increase the pressure across board.Follow @FootyLogue
